Welcome to my website!
My love of still life combined with my love of antique shops and flea
markets have been my inspiration in creating many of these designs. I
enjoy wandering through this type of shop and finding interesting
objects to use in my paintings.
Having been a decorative painting
teacher for many years - teaching at National Conventions, regional
conventions and retreats, I am always concerned with what the student
will gain from painting one of my packets. The majority of my packets
are still life but
occasionally I like to do a different type of design - mostly flowers.
All of these packets are done in acrylics with detailed instructions.
Join me for a “still life and more” adventure.

I am very excited to have my project " By the Seashore" in the August 2008 issue of PaintWorks Magazine. It is a tray with sand and sea shells and an unusual faux background. Hope you enjoy it.
I would like to share this excitement with you by putting several packets on a special sale. Check the Special Sale Category for this offer.
One of the highlights of the past year was having my own design on an
ornament on the Library of Congress tree. If you are in Washington
around the holidays, be sure to visit the Library of Congress and see
the tree.
From time to time painted samples will be available for purchase.
These painted items were designed by other decorative painters and have
been painted by Janet.
Please visit often and see what is new. |
